What is an Internal User?

Like traditional front counter staff, the Internal User role is reserved for agency staff members who are responsible for reviewing and processing project applications, resubmittals, and revisions. They are also responsible for delivering reviewed plans back to the customer.

 Internal User Responsibilities

In goPost, Internal User tasks include:

  1. Performing an intake completeness check for project applications.

    1. Ensure project application relevancy.

    2. Review project application information.

    3. Confirm the Applicant has submitted the appropriate documents.

    4. Confirm the project application is ready to be accepted.

    5. Update the project application status as appropriate.

    6. Communicate with the Applicant as necessary.

  2. Creating project applications on behalf of an Applicant, if necessary.

    1. After the project application has been created, transfer project ownership to the Applicant.

  3. Pushing project applications and documents to EPR for plan review.

    1. Once the project application Status has been updated to Accepted, it is pushed to EPR.

  4. Creating new Internal User accounts as necessary.

  5. Assisting Applicants/Customers with their project application submittals.

Internal Users do not have configuration privileges within goPost. Those are reserved for the Administrator role.
