This article provides information about the Settings/Environment/Email page. Use the Email page to configure SMTP settings for emails sent from eplansoft REVIEW.


Step-by-step guide

  1. Click on the EPR Portal link.
  2. Login with Administrator credentials.
  3. Select Environment/Email from the Navigation menu.
  4. Complete Email Destinations section.
    1. From Name: Displays on the "From" field of system generated emails.
    2. From Email: Displays on the "From email" field of system generated emails.
    3. System Admin Email: Emails meant to revieve System Alerts.
    4. Notification Interval: Number of minutes to wait before grouping notifcations and sending as single emails.
  5. Complete SMTP Settings section.
    1. Server Name: Valid agency email server name.
    2. Server Port: Port number to support outgoing emails.
    3. User: Valid agency user 
    4. Password: Valid agency user password
    5. SMTP Status: Valid/Invalid settings Confirmation

Email Destinations

Complete this section as follows:


Field nameDescription
From NameEnter the 'From Name' to be used on emails sent from REVIEW.
From EmailProvide the email address for emails sent from REVIEW.
System Admin EmailProvide a valid email address(es) to Administrator(s) who should receive emails for all events.
Notification intervalEmails will be sent at this frequency.

Changes to the Notification Interval will require a restart of your server. Click here to request a restart.

Users should be expelled from the portal prior to a restart.

SMTP Settings

Field nameDescription
Server NameEnter the server address.
UserEnter the user name for the SMTP server account.
PasswordEnter the password for the SMTP server account.


Select the Save button (required).
