Contact records require:
- A first and last name.
- A unique email address.

- From the Contact form, select the Projects tab.
- Click the + button to open the Select a Project form.
- Enter the project number.
- Choose the appropriate contact role for the selected project (required).
Switch on the Primary toggle if this individual is a primary contact for the selected project. A single primary contact is allowed for each project.

In some situations, it may be desirable to convert make a Contact record contact into a licensed user record. For example, when you want to allow a project contact to view and respond to the reviewer's comments using eplansoft REVIEWwil the project is ongoing.
Use the Promote to User button on the Contact form to do this. Projects that this individual is associated to as a Contact will be remain in place and the individual will become part of the project TeamThe individual will then become a project team member for all projects in which they were previously a contact.
- Open the Contact form.
- Click the Promote to User button.
- Choose the appropriate User Role.
- If you choose the Contributor user role you will be given a choice to allow this individual rights to download plans f

- Switch the Inactive status to Active to grant the individual login privileges.
- Click the Save button (required).
