These hidden content may have present issues when importing the PDF into a plan review software. This article describes an easy way to remove hidden content from PDFs using Adobe Acrobat.
Instructions
Step-by-step guide:
Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat
Select Tools > Redact
In the Redact screen select Sanitize Document
Finally, when the Sanitize Document confirmation screen pops up, click OK to sanitize the PDF
