This article provides information about named user plan review assignments and how reassignments are handled.
In this article:
Because every assignment must be associated to a Group, all assignments are considered Group assignments.
A named user assignment (aka: personal assignment) is an assignment that has been given to a specific user to complete.
With a named user assignment, expectations are that the named user is the person who is ultimately responsible to change the assignment's Status.
Any users who belong to the assignment's Group may change the assignment's Status.
When a named user has created markups on their assigned document and then, cannot complete the assignment, we recommend giving the assignment to another user who belongs to the same group.
This will be required when e-PlanREVIEW® (EPR) is configured to prevent Reviewers from modifying another user's markups. For example, open comments need to be closed or sketches need to be changed/deleted.
Give the assignment to a different user.
Follow these steps:
Have a user with the proper permissions, (ie: the Group or Project Manager), complete the plan review.
This assumes that system Permissions have been configured for best practices to allow Group manages rights to edit/delete markups made by users in their Group(s).
When EPR Reviewers are inactivated, be sure to remove them from any Distribution workflows where they are 'named users'. |
